I did this LO at the Indigo Mills retreat in April, the class was taught by the lovely Steph, really enjoyed doing this - and it's inspired me to get my paints out more!

I had to share this photo with you of Russ as a wee nipper, how cute is this? The father-in-law assures me that the drink was non-alcoholic and the ciggie was just a sweet! Can't wait to scrap this one!

Well, the best laid plans and all that, my scrappy day didn't come to fruition after all, but the day hasn't been a total washout - I had my copy of Scrapbook Inspirations and I've been published (I know in the grand scheme of things it's no great shakes but it's my first time so I'm chuffed as little meatballs for all that!)

oh this is it btw..

I bought a flocking kit recently and am loving playing with it, I even flocked the brad for the centre of the flower cos I hadn't got a matching brad!

A wonderful friend of mine has made my day and converted some old slides for me - flicking through them I've had LOs developing in my head all day!! So thank you Hilary!!
No work tomorrow so I intend to spend the day scrapping....housework can wait!!

It doesn't matter who puts the food in her belly when it comes to nap time only Daddy's lap will do!

I'm really loving sewing on LOs at the moment, this was inspired by the lush new prima papers.
I pricked it all out first to make it easier, then sat through Desperate Housewives sewing away - How hooked on scrapping am I that I even do it while watching TV?

Tuesday 19 May 2009

I did this LO to use up lots of my old scraps I always have lying around and never usually get around to using
I suppose my first post should be something profound and deeply interesting, but I decided to go with boring instead!
So anyone with too much time on their hands who've stumbled across my shiny new blog, for whatever reason, 'Hello and welcome'
